2023 and 2024


Jeremiah and I were unable to attend the Furry Scurry in 2023. We had actually paid to do the Furry Scurry, but our journey took us to Greece instead to try IVF for the first time. We also did not attend the Furry Scurry in 2024 - but I honestly cannot remember why. Alas, our next Furry Scurry happened in 2025, with our friend An, and a new addition to our family.

Furry Scurry 2025


We meet up with our friend An and his dog, Lemon, before starting the Furry Scurry. We brought along our daughter with us. She's nine months old now, and can definitely crawl, but we have her in her stroller as crawling here is not ideal. The group of us navigate the vendors, winning free prizes, getting free dog treats, bandanas, and toys, and of course, the free pup cup ice creams from Good Times.

We walk the Furry Scurry together, completing the 5k. I did take a few photographs of Zelda, our daughter, but we don't share identifying pictures of her on the internet. We hung out for a little bit afterwards, conversing. I'm so glad that An and Lemon were able to join us. Maybe they will again next year!
