Sometimes keeping my camera in my purse comes in handy. I got locked out of my home while my husband was at work, and instead of moping around, I took off to take photographs. This photograph was taken at James A Bible Park. I was sitting on the bank of the Highline Canal and shot this while kneeling down. It's not often that you get to see a red tree in the fall in Colorado, most trees here turn yellow.
