For our first April challenge, we will do something that seems super simple at first: Taking a photograph of a line.
In my first photography course, this was our first assignment. A lot of students took photographs of the lines in the tile or in the woodworks. Lines that already exist. This was the first photography assignment I ever partook in, and I took a photograph of the shadow between the trim along the stairs and the wall, as the trim had separated itself from the wall. The professor was impressed with my creativity, impressed that I made a line instead of taking a photograph of a line.
The point is not to toot my own horn, but to inspire you to think outside the box. Don't just take a photo of a line. Make a line.
