This will be a relatively short blog.

One of the days before I moved to Colorado, I was telling Taylor, a friend, that I wanted to drive around the back roads of Alma, WI but didn't want to get lost. She immediately lit up and offered to show me around. Jake, the yellow lab below, joined us.

She showed me some of the back roads around the area on top of the bluffs, drove us through Waumandee, and we stopped at this old school. I think it's being used for a Church now if I remember correctly.

The trees were so tall, and large. They must be aged quite a bit, but beautiful as ever.

Jake enjoyed his short walk with me. He chased squirrels around and followed me until it was time to get back in the car.

This was the last thing I took a photograph of, this feather laying on the dirt. Part of me wishes I would have picked up and kept the feather, but nonetheless it made for a cool image.

Thank you, Taylor for the little road trip!
